Most UPI deposits land in seconds. When one does not, the money is almost always safe and the fix is usually quick. This checklist walks through the common causes in the order support will ask about them.
Step 1: Check the Status in Your UPI App
Open Google Pay, PhonePe or Paytm and look at the transaction. “Pending” means the bank has not confirmed yet; wait 15 minutes. “Failed” means the money was never debited or will be auto-reversed within 3 to 5 working days. “Successful” with no balance update means the credit is stuck on the bookmaker side.
Step 2: Find the UTR Number
Every successful UPI payment has a 12-digit UTR (Unique Transaction Reference). Copy it from the transaction details; support uses it to trace the credit.
Step 3: Contact Live Chat
- Open live chat from the website or the app.
- Send the UTR, the amount and the time of the payment.
- A screenshot of the successful transaction speeds things up.
- Most traced deposits are credited within the hour.
Preventing Failed Deposits
- Use the UPI ID or account registered in your own name.
- Keep the amount within the ₹300 to ₹50,000 limit per transaction.
- Do not close the payment page until the confirmation appears.
- Try a wallet or net banking if your bank blocks the merchant category.
